Available in two flavours, plain and maple, Bufala Yogurt is made exclusively with whole buffalo milk and active bacterial cultures. It is 100% natural and contains no modified milk ingredient. Richer in iron and calcium than cow yogurt, this firm yogurt is homogenized and pasteurized. The maple variety contains 15% real maple syrup.
The story of Élevages Buffalo Maciocia, today Canada’s largest buffalo herd (500), began in 2009 when two Italian-born entrepreneurs, Mario Maciocia and Frank Abbale, purchased a herd of buffalo in Vermont and settled in Saint-Charles-sur-Richelieu with the dream of creating Italy’s famed fresh mozzarella in America.
