The Cheese Bar is a local company with a selection of more than 150 cheeses on a regular basis and proudly carries over 20 producers from across Canada. Our selection of imported cheeses is growing as well.
The Cheese Bar not only offers cheese, we have a selection of butter, yogourt, milk, pate, cured meats and vegan cheese in our fridges. We work with and collaborate with other local small businesses bringing in preserves, pickled veg, chocolates, granola, maple syrup and other delicious treats to enjoy with your dairy products.
We strive to educate all of our customers on our cheese selections, provisions and local small businesses we support and carry in store. When you visit The Cheese Bar, you’re not just supporting a local small business, you are experiencing a plethora of other unique and local small businesses. After exploring the world for the past seven years, I came home to celebrate a friend’s wedding. During that visit, I organized a wine tour of local wineries. While planning the route I realized that EPIC Wine Country did not have a cheese shop. And that was the inception of The Cheese Bar dream.
JanuaryThe Cheese Bar becomes a registered business in Ontario.
AprilI hosted a tasting with family & friends to narrow the selection of cheese to take to market.
That night they sampled over 20 types of cheese for me!
May 29thThe launch of The Cheese Bar at The Walkerville Night Market.

AugustThe Cheese Bar hosted their first cheese & wine tasting.
DecemberThe Cheese Bar’s first Charcuterie and Cheese platter is delivered to a customer.
