Tea + Cheese Tasting with Alicja

Join us in-store for a uniquE ‘tEA AND CHEESE’ TASTING EXPERIENCE

SATURday, MAY 11th from 12:30-1:30 PM

Join us for a unique and informative tasting session as we pair cheese and tea together. Tea might not seem like the first beverage of choice to pair with your cheese board, but during our one hour class you’ll learn why this drink can be a wonderful option, especially for those who avoid alcoholic beverage pairings for various reasons. Tea, much like wine comes in hundreds of varieties, influenced by terroir, or the sense of place, growing conditions that create complex flavour profiles.

We will taste through 5 different tea and cheese pairings together , learning how to identify their flavour profiles, discuss why they are complementary and discover a wonderful new appreciation for tea and cheese!

The class will be lead by Alicja, an enthusiast for all things food and drink. Working at The Cheese Bar influenced her love of cheese so much she is currently working towards becoming a Certified Cheese Professional through the Academy of Cheese.
