Traditional Asian: Classic Suzy
The creator and host of “Cultural Cooking with Suzy Cui” on Your TV joins us tonight to demonstrate how simple it is to entertain elegantly with Asian cuisine. Though these dishes are traditional Chinese fare, they all have a classic “Suzy” flare to them.
- Traditional Pork Wonton Soup: homemade pork wontons floating in a light, delicate broth garnished with classic Chinese elements
- Asian Napa Salad: crisp and fresh, this napa cabbage salad gets dressed with Suzy’s homemade flavours and garnished to perfection
- Spicy Sichuan Chicken with Steamed Thai Jasmine Rice: tender morsels of chicken with stir fried vegetables and a spicy Sichuan sauce served over fragrant basmati rice.
- Sweet Asian Coconut Bars: though desserts are not common in China, Suzy brings her own flare to these chewy, tender bars with rich coconut flavours
