Pasta Making Workshop

thursday, march 14th 1pm-3pm

Session 2: Pasta Making
The second session will be a pasta making session where kids can get their hands dirty and learn the art of pasta
making. Rosa Marello of @recipes_by_rosa will be leading the workshop. They will take home their pasta, some fresh parmesan cheese and produce to create a homemade sauce with Delfrescopure® tomatoes.

Creating a happier and healthier planet begins with educating and empowering the next generation with
feeling confident in the kitchen. We believe that cooking is a life skill and instills a sense of community.
Working with your hands has been proven to improve mental health and great way to stimulate the brain, provide
mental calmness and concentration. The hand-brain connection creates a positive feedback loop that can
really help you grow – that’s why it’s so important for children to learn manual skills and work on fine motor
skills, as it’s good for their brains!

Not only is the act of cooking a life skill, it can help build community through the process of preparing food,
sharing it around a table, creating conversation and connecting with people – LIVE and in person.
