The Beginner Gardener:

How to Start Growing Your Own Food

Saturday, March 9 – 10 am – 11 am

This workshop with GreenerFarms is dedicated to all of you first-time growers: the ones who are convinced you have a “black thumb”, who have tried (and maybe failed) at growing, or don’t have the slightest clue of where to start on your gardening journey. Starting a veggie garden can feel overwhelming, especially when doing it on your own. Luckily, you don’t have to!

This one-hour workshop covers how to mark your ideal veggie plot spot, the importance of sunlight, establishing an accessible watering schedule, which veggies to start with so that you don’t get overwhelmed, and we’ll talk all about your soil needs!
Come and design your 2023 garden with Dane and Alley from GreenerFarms in a judgment-free zone – there are no “silly” questions; we’re happy to answer them all and send you off with the resources to feel confident going into this gardening season!

Cost: $38
