DIY Fire Cider Workshop

Dane & Alley, previously of GreenerFarms, are back in Windsor-Essex for a brief time and are
eager to share their homesteading and farming tips with the community. This time we’ll be
making our own Fire Cider!

What is this magic? Fire Cider is an age-old remedy to strengthen the immune system and help
ward off illness. With winter around the corner, it’s the perfect time to get together and brew
some cider together! We’ll be incorporating local ingredients and fresh herbs from the garden to
infuse into apple cider vinegar, all while talking about herbal folklore, the history of Fire Cider,
and gathering with like-minded folks.

Dane & Alley will provide the ingredients that we’ll be using in the Fire Cider, so all you have to
do is bring yourself and maybe a friend or loved one that you want to learn some homesteading
skills with. Making things slowly from scratch has turned into a lost art; let’s bring it back to the
mainstream together!

Where-The Cheese Bar’s New Event Space
25 Amy Croft Drive (in the Sobeys plaza, at the corner, across the street from Estetica), entrance is off Amy Croft.
