The Experience

Do you get a rush from learning in a social environment?

If you answered “YES” to any one of these questions, you are the perfect candidate for our candle making workshop!

During this workshop, Amy from SoHum will guide you in creating your very own scented candles by picking up to six fragrances from our specially curated fragrance catalogue. You’ll learn how to expertly combine your chosen fragrances, uncover the proper way to pour wax so that your candle has an even burn and learn how to choose a quality wick so that your candle lasts longer. Learn valuable tips and insider information on candle safety, burning tips and gain comprehensive knowledge of candle-making techniques and materials.

Get ready to go on an olfactory adventure across top, middle, and base notes and discover all that it takes to become an astute chandler.

What’s Included?

Each participant will be provided with all the required candle making material and equipment. (See below as to what to wear to the workshop).

Each participant will make one 8oz scented candle jar and one reed diffuser. By the end of the workshop, your candle may still be in a semi-solid state and will need time to cool in this case. You will be provided with a small Charcuterie and Cheese sampler to enjoy while your candles solidify. Participants are also eligible to receive 15% off all SoHum products.
